Hi Seoul Winter Festival is in progress, there’s the Myeongdong Street that’s nationally and internationally famous for shopping, food and fashion.
Myeongdong means ‘Bright Village’ and with the nearby Chungmuro, it is a traditional commercial area. High?rise buildings appeared after the urban redevelopment in 1956 and Myeongdong became today’s shopping hub visited by all foreign tourists at least once during their visit to Korea.
Not second to shopping, continuous chains of popular and longstanding restaurants can be found here. Street?food is also a treat.
Recently, due to the influence of the exchange rate, there has been a sharp increase in the number of Japanese, Chinese and other tourists from nearby nations visiting on a shopping tour, proving Myeongdong to be a spot sheltered from economic stagnation.
Majority of the tourists showed satisfaction at the price, quality and design of the goods and the variety of things to eat here.

How to shop at Whole Foods market or any grocery store for that matter.

Stick to whole foods, look for grass fed meats and organic produce.

If you can, find RAW dairy at your local farmers market. If not, get organic and grass fed butter. If your store doesn’t carry it, ask the manager to carry it and since there is such a high demand for it, they are most likely happy to help you. If not, find a better store or mail order.

Stick to outer edges of the store and go in, get your stuff and get out!

Plan your shopping once or twice a week.
